Complimentary WiFi. Believe me, the WiFi here was faster than Usain Bolt. I had no trouble streaming my favorite shows and uploading envy-inducing holiday pics. It was like having a personal cheerleader for my internet needs.

The location of the cottage is definitely a highlight. It is nestled in a quiet area with stunning views. the proximity to the Maws Craft Centre is also a bonus, offering a range of unique shops to explore. there are several pubs nearby that serve delicious food.

We recently stayed at a riverside retreat in Jackfield, Ironbridge Gorge, Shropshire. Drake Cottage offered us a perfect location with superb views and a very quiet environment. the cottage was well-equipped and had lovely gardens. We loved being so close to Maws Craft Centre, which had lots of quirky shops to explore. There were also plenty of pubs nearby that served delicious food. we enjoyed how walkable the area was, with the China and Victorian museums just a short stroll away. Not to mention, it only took us a few minutes to reach the iconic Ironbridge. our experience at Drake Cottage was absolutely fantastic. Can't fault anything about it! 😊.

We absolutely loved our stay at Riverside Retreat in Jackfield! As foreign tourists, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location, and were blown away by the superb views. the proximity to Maws Craft Centre was a huge plus, with its quirky shops and unique finds. Exploring the local area was a breeze, with lots of fantastic pubs serving delicious food just a stone's throw away. We were thrilled to discover that the China and Victorian museums were within walking distance, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the history and culture of the area. And of course, being just minutes from Ironbridge was a dream come true. We couldn't have asked for more.
Felt incredibly well taken care of, with no complaints at all.

There were a few aspects of our stay that we didn't particularly enjoy. the facilities in the cottage were not as well-equipped as we had hoped.

The location was mind-blowing! The views were jaw-dropping and it was super quiet. The property was well-equipped with a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, and a fully stocked kitchen with an electric kettle and cookware. The gardens were lovely, perfect for outdoor dining. Plus, being dog-friendly, with treats for our furry friend, made it even better. The nearby Maws Craft Centre had lots of quirky shops and there were plenty of pubs with good food. We could easily walk to the China and Victorian museums and it was just minutes away from the famous Ironbridge. a superb stay in a perfect location with all the amenities we needed.

Great location, short walk to Ironbridge and local pubs. Well-equipped cottage with treats for our dog. Friendly neighbors with local knowledge. Enjoyed visiting the Black Swan pub, walking along the river, and Blists Hill Victorian Town. Dog-friendly area.
